Doesn't this just break you're fuckin' heart? Seriously--no sarcasm here. As I was walking my dog this morning, I read that story and it just about made me cry.
In other rainy day news, my mom goes in for her first PET Scan today and more blood tests. The PET Scan will tell us how far the cancer has progressed and help determine the best course of treatment. The blood tests are being done to try and reconcile why she has a multi location cancer, yet her liver functions and hemoglobin levels are currently normal. We won't know the results until next Tuesday.
I really need something good to happen today. Anything, no matter how big or small would help.
