Battlestar Galactica: hour 1 and some of hour 2

I was too young for BSG the first time 'round. I've seen a few of the old episodes and they never did much for me.

However, I keep hearing so much about the new episodes. Normally I don't buy into buzz, but this time it came highly recommended by someone I trust in such matter.

Hour 1 has been ok, and hour 2 has been more action packed. Also, the whole "drum-only" soundtrack is an interesting idea that I like-so is the silent space.
